The thing is, asparagus tastes sorta like English peas, which I like. But, the weird thing is when you urinate, you smell it in your pp. :-)

With enough butter and bacon grease, they might be edible. I can actually eat green beans that way.

But on the other hand, with lots of butter and bacon grease, even grass and other weeds might be edible. (I am so NOT researching this one!)

Why would you want to eat non-foods when there's plenty of good food to eat? Maybe if you get tired of foods like burgers, pizza, tacos, nachos, steak, seafood, pork, bacon, ham, cheese, etc., would you be inclined to eat stuff that doesn't taste that good and isn't really food. But I don't see that happening...

BTW, I second the motion that asparagus be considered a non-food.

Actually, asparagus is pretty good smothered in butter and salt. In fact, it would probably work cooked in a melted glob of bacon grease for "seasoning" also. It's one of like 4 vegetables that I eat directly. To see what I mean by "eat directly", follow this link: http://buffetoblog.wordpress.com/2007/11/16/how-can-someone-be-a-vegetarian/#comments.
