wrong weather forecast

Standard

I was checking the forecast on The Weather Channel today, because there’s a chance of snow here in Arkansas tomorrow, which is a very rare thing.  They told some nearby high/low temps, for travel purposes, and I noticed something weird — in Memphis, TN, tomorrow, the high is 36 and the low is 39.  Now, I’m no meteorologist (just a humorologist), but it seems like the high should be higher than the low.  Can someone explain what’s going on here?

  1. It happened again! Weather.com, by The Weather Channel, has tonight’s low at 51 degrees, but the current temperature is 48. This is at 7:00pm, too. Granted, it may still warm up, but how can the low be higher than the current temperature?

What's on your mind?
