caption contest, guy watching professional cleanup crew

Standard

Another week, another caption contest.  This week’s photo features an older guy watching what looks like professional cleaners or a HAZMAT team or scientists.  These guys have masks and air tanks, so it looks serious.  Yet the older man doesn’t appear concerned.  So who knows what’s going on?  It’s up to you to write the story behind this picture.  Remember, you can frame the context however you want, so the sky’s the limit.  Have fun!

  1. Guy in pink: “What do you mean my septic tank exploded? I planted it there myself, so for it to explode would be absolutely, totally, and in all other ways, inconceivable.

HAZMAT captain: You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

  2. On July 11th, 2007, while gathering epiphyte samples in the upper canopy of a kapok tree in the forbidding Cordillera Apolobamba range on the Bolivian/Peruvian border, the “Important Evil Genius” walked up, completely oblivious to the gravity of the situation. Our expedition had unearthed toxic, flammable gases, then the old man ripped one and the combination of such combustion exploded… We have not forgotten… someday he will pay…

  3. Does the guy in pink not have any idea that perhaps he should be wearing some protective gear or clothing??? It’s like he’s oblivious to his ignorance.

    • He’s got his hands in his pockets, so he’s not going to touch anything. What’s the worst that could happen?

  4. In case you haven’t guessed yet, there’s been a lot of crap going on. And I’m not talking about farting. I’m talking about the hard stuff, and a lot of it. I’ve been trying to find out who’s behind it. It hasn’t been easy. I don’t shower much.
